How to Connect from Off-CampusFor those living off-campus you will need to acquire your own Internet service, either by dial-up modem, DSL, cable modem, or another means. Your local phone book will list available companies under "Internet - Service Providers." Once you are connected to the Internet the following services can be accessed from off-campus (these are direct links):
For Employees only, we are testing options for creating Virtual Private Networks. This allows broadband connections (DSL or cable modem) to act as if the home computer is on campus, including access to Outlook in exchange mode and access to files on your work computer. Contact the Service Desk for more information. |
