Deskside Coaching


What is deskside coaching?
Deskside coaching is a one-on-one learning experience between an IT staff person and a George Fox community member. There is a large variety of subjects within computers and technology that can be covered. Staff or faculty can decide what they need to learn and call the IT service desk to schedule a one-hour block of time to be coached in their office.

How does deskside coaching work?
Simply contact the IT Service Desk at servicedesk@georgefox.edu to schedule an appointment for deskside coaching. Let us know what tasks you need help with and what times work best for you. We'll create a service request to have a technician visit you at your office and coach you through using the technology.
