Scholarship Information

For Current GFU Traditional Undergraduate Students: 

Departmental scholarship applications for 2013-14 are now available.   This process is for traditional undergraduate students who will continue their undergraduate work at George Fox University for the 2013-14 academic year.   More information is available at students MyGFU account.

Juan Young Trust Scholarship

Juan Young was a former officer and then president of Kienow’s Food Stores.  Upon his death, a trust fund was established to provide money for college scholarships for Oregon residents. The application process begins each winter through the universities Donor-Funded Scholarship Competition which is available via student’s MyGFU portal January through February each academic year.

Preference is first given to lineal descendants of former Kienow’s employees.  If no applicants meet this criteria, the scholarship will be open to other candidates who fit the following qualifications:

Students must be an Oregon resident

Students must be 21 years of age or less at time of application

Students not currently enrolled at George Fox University should go to Financial Aid Information to review all forms of financial assistance offered to new students.
