Education

Doctor of education (EdD)

Prepares educators to be leaders in private and K-12 systems and higher education. Offered in cohort model with January and July start dates.

Master of arts in teaching (MAT)

An 11-, 16- or 20-month program that prepares K–12 teachers for public and private schools. Daytime and evening and weekend programs are offered.

Master of education (MEd)

 For educators seeking advanced training. Several specializations offered. Classes are offered evenings, weekends, web-enhanced, and online formats in the fall and spring. Summer classes offered in a concentrated format.

Administrative license programs

Prepares students to be leaders in their schools. Initial Administrative License and Continuing Administrator/Initial Superintendent licenses are offered.

Counseling

Master of arts in counseling (MA)

Prepares students to be licensed professional counselors. Includes two semesters of internship.

Master of arts in marriage and family therapy (MA)

Prepares students to be licensed marriage and family therapists. Includes two semesters of internship. Also offered as licensure only.

Master of arts in school counseling (MA)

Prepares students to obtain an Initial School Counseling License. Includes two semesters of internship. Also offered as licensure only.

Master of science in school psychology (MS)

Prepares students to obtain their Initial School Psychology License. Includes two semesters of internship. Also offered as licensure only.
