Assistant Professor of Accounting
Seth Sikkema joined George Fox University in 2007 and is a certified Public Accountant with experience in both public and private accounting. Seth has extensive financial reporting experience with national and multi-national firms represented by several industries, including the retail, high technology, service and regulated utility industries. Seth was also a Senior auditor with Arthur Andersen and the finance director for the River Church in San Jose, California.
In addition to his professional experience, Seth served as board member for AHEAD Ministries, Inc., a non-profit entity organized to promote the economic self-sufficiency of the third-world church, primarily in West Africa. In cooperation with AHEAD, Seth also co-led two minisrty teams to a Liberain refugee camp located in Ghana, West Africa, primarily to encourage, assist, and equip indigenous leadership. Seth has also led ministry teams to Tegucigalpa, Honduras and has directed several financial stewardship seminars.
Seth holds undergraduate degrees in Accounting and Spanish from Geore Fox University and a graduate degree from Boise State University. His academic interests include financial and manageerial accounting, ethics, and fraud examination. Other personal interests include missions, travel abroad, and Boise State football.
