Life on Campus Daily Screening App Fall 2020

#CampusClear Daily Screening

Students and employees are asked to complete daily self-screening through the #CampusClear App before entering classrooms, buildings, or offices. This process should take less than 10 seconds a day. This is a state-mandated requirement for universities provided to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19. It is not intended as a diagnostic tool, but is intended to increase self-awareness of symptoms that may be caused by COVID-19.

A "yes" answer to any symptom does not necessarily mean you have COVID-19. You must discern if the symptom(s) could be caused by another health condition or for another reason.  (e.g. a cough related to allergies, headache related to poor sleep or hydration, etc.)

If you have questions about whether or not your symptoms may be COVID-19 related, please contact the Health and Counseling Center at 503-554-2340 or your health care provider before going to work or attending class.

How do I get the app?

  • Download the app at the App Store (for iOS users),
  • Download the app at the Google Play store (for Android users).
  • For those without a smartphone or who are unable to use the app, an online version is available through Campus Clear.

What should I do if I’m not cleared to come to campus?

If you feel ill, please seek medical assistance. If you are having difficulty breathing, call 911.

Students should stay at home and email their instructor that they will not be in class due to illness. Students who are not cleared to come to campus may still participate remotely in courses with that capability.

Employees should stay at home and email their supervisor.

Will someone check on me if I report a symptom?

If you are ill, please seek medical assistance or contact the George Fox Health and Counseling Center at 503-554-2340. The university is monitoring #CampusClear results in aggregate. Please do not use this app as a communication tool.

What if I made an entry error?

If you made an entry error, you may log out, log back in, confirm your email and repeat the day’s entry.
