One of the Ways We Thank You
Besides the reward of knowing your donation helps a George Fox student Be Known personally, academically and spiritually, we invite you to be recognized in one of our giving associations.
To thank donors for their partnership, George Fox recognizes donors for their university-wide cumulative lifetime gifts, their future gift commitments, and their annual gift contributions:
Founded more than 20 years ago, the President's Council recognizes those making gifts of $1,000 or more to George Fox each year. Members receive benefits such as advanced notice and preregistration for select George Fox events and early notification of significant news in the president's Connections communication.
Special $50,000 challenge for the President’s Council
The Maybelle Clark Macdonald Fund, a private Oregon-based foundation that supports the good works of Oregonians, has awarded George Fox a $50,000 challenge grant.
Every new gift and every increased gift of $2,500, $5,000 or $10,000 to the George Fox Student Fund made by Dec. 31, 2015, will be matched dollar for dollar! Our students will benefit and you will have the satisfaction of knowing that the impact of your gift has been doubled.
If you have supported George Fox as a President’s Council member previously, please consider increasing your commitment to take advantage of the challenge. If you are considering membership, please think about joining at one of the levels listed above.
Henry Mills Society
Gifts given through estate planning
Honors donors who contribute gifts through estate planning, including bequests in wills or trusts, charitable-remainder trusts, pooled-income funds or life insurance.
Donors are also recognized — or they can recognize someone else — through the naming opportunities available at the University.
*If a donor wishes to remain anonymous, we will honor that request to the extent allowed by law. By publicly recognizing university donors, we believe others are motivated to join their peers in giving back to an institution that has given them so much.
