George Fox University 2012 Spring Graduates and Dean's List

Seven-hundred students received undergraduate and graduate diplomas at George Fox University’s spring commencement ceremonies on Saturday, April 28.

Three-hundred and seventy-six students received bachelor’s degrees after completing study in one of George Fox’s 41 undergraduate bachelor’s degree majors or its adult degree programs. Another 324 students received a master’s degree or a doctorate after completing study in one of the university’s graduate programs or in its seminary.

Angela Bymaster, a 2000 alumna of George Fox who become an MD and now works for the Santa Clara County Homeless Healthcare Program, addressed the undergraduates. Jeanette Eggert, an associate professor of math and physics at Concordia University in Portland, Ore., spoke at the graduate, seminary and adult degree program ceremony.

The university has also released the names of dean's list recipients for the 2012 spring semester. Below are the graduation and dean's list recipients, organized by state and, alphabetically, by hometown.

To qualify for the dean’s list, a student must earn a 3.5 grade point average for at least one term.
