Transfer Credit Equivalencies

Transferring credit from another college/university

All liberal arts courses taken at an accredited college or university will transfer to George Fox Unviersity; vocational courses generally do not transfer. Here are some things to keep in mind as you consider taking classes to transfer back to George Fox.
  • Official transcripts are required for credit to be transferred. Unofficial transcripts will not be accepted.
  • A maximum of 96 quarter or 64 semester hours will be accepted from community colleges.
  • Only course work with a grade of "C-" or better will be accepted.
  • Courses must be 100-level or higher.
  • 100/200 level courses will not be accepted for 300/400 level courses.
  • One quarter credit=2/3 semester credit
Below are links to transfer guide sheets for community colleges in Oregon and Washington.
Note: These documents require Adobe Acrobat to download correctly. Download Adobe Acrobat Reader. The school I will be transferring credits from is not listed here. What should I do?
