In addition to providing administrative assistance to Amy and Dwight, Jane coordinates the science equipment loan program and takes care of the scheduling for the Star Lab, laboratory use and demonstrations, science classes. Additionally, Jane works as the Administrative Assistant to the George Fox Biology and Chemistry Department.

Amy oversees the Youth Science Classes, Laboratory and Facility Outreach, and Star Lab. She and Dwight are happy to help brainstorm ideas for teaching science well.
Amy has a Biology Degree from George Fox University and has worked with the Science Outreach Program for over six years. During an interim break with the program, she taught high school biology at Westside Christian High School.

Dwight has taught for over 35 years and been an Associate Professor of Biology at George Fox University since 1994. He earned the Carnegie Foundation’s Oregon Professor of the Year award in 2000.
