Jana oversees the Youth Science Classes, Laboratory and Facility Outreach, and Equipment Loan Program. She graduated from Purdue University and homeschooled her two sons during their middle school years. Contact Jana for information about the youth classes and to schedule labs and equipment loans. 

Kathy Weiss

Kathy is an Assistant Professor of Biology at George Fox University. She has taught here for over 10 years, currently in the Nursing Program . Kathy serves as liaison between the Biology & Chemistry Department and the Science Outreach Program.

Dwight Kimberly

Dwight is the founder of the Science Outreach Program. He graduated from George Fox University in 1967, came back to teach in the mid-1980s, and retired from his position as Associate Professor of Biology in 2011. He earned the Carnegie Foundation’s Oregon Professor of the Year award in 2000. Dwight continues to serve the community through presentations and lectures.
