George Fox Evangelical Seminary is committed to your spiritual formation – the process of being conformed to the image of Christ for the sake of others. We will challenge your mind, heart and will as you seek to follow God’s call on your life.
The seminary prepares students for ministry inside and outside local church walls. They go on to work as pastors, church staff, hospice, military and hospital chaplains.
Our graduates are engaged in church planting, including multi-ethnic congregations, and overseeing denominational and parachurch ministries in the United States and abroad. Other graduates go on to earn postgraduate degrees and teach in seminaries or colleges.
Our roster of visiting professors includes nationally prominent authors, speakers, theologians and pastors, including Len Sweet, Jason Paul Clark, Todd Hunter, Alan Hirsch and Dan Kimball.
A certificate in spiritual formation and discipleship may be added to a master's degree or may be earned alone as non-academic credit.
The seminary is dedicated to serving the present and future church by developing ministry leaders and preparing Christian scholars. We desire to extend the kingdom of God by educating, training, mentoring and equipping men and women for leadership service in society and the church.
