The 2022 spring semester ended with a flourish of color and creativity for students in George Fox's art and design program, as they showcased their portfolios of design work to a room full of local and experienced industry professionals at the Bora Architects design practice in downtown Portland.

The event gave students the chance to both display their work from the past several years and make presentations to explain their design process and final solutions.

Most importantly, interior design, graphic design, illustration and studio art students participating in the YLW Portfolio Show connected with industry leaders, designers and artists in their respective disciplines, allowing them to get feedback from professionals and discuss real-use cases of their designs.

During the two-hour event, students mingled with designers from Wieden + Kennedy, Scott Edwards Architecture, Hyphn and more, opening the door for them to potentially find employment with these organizations upon graduation.
