Admission Requirements

Undergraduate students are considered for admission by evaluation of their academic record, high school grade point average (GPA), SAT or ACT test scores, writing sample, references, and participation in extracurricular activities.

GPA

George Fox University does not have a minimum grade point average (GPA) requirement for undergraduate admission. However, the vast majority of students admitted enter with a high school GPA of 3.0 or higher. The average incoming high school GPA for first-time freshmen is 3.6.

SAT and ACT test scores

George Fox University does not have a minimum SAT or ACT score required for undergraduate admission. However, the vast majority of students admitted enter with an SAT score of 1,000 (500 average in both the math and reading sections) or higher and/or a composite ACT score of 20 or higher. The average SAT score and ACT score for incoming freshmen is 1149 and 23, respectively.
