EDFL students

George Fox offers online, evening and summer classes designed to fulfill the professional development needs of educators in PreK-12 and higher education. Programs include the master of education, endorsements and teaching license renewal.

Specializations and Endorsements

Master of Education students choose from seven areas of specialization:

  • Curriculum and instruction
  • Educational leadership
  • Higher education
  • Literacy
  • Reading
  • Secondary education
Each specialization consists of approximately 18 semester hours of courses around a specific content area within education. Many of the specializations lead to an additional endorsement or license for PreK-12 educators in Oregon (transferrable to Washington and other states). They are available in either the MEd program or as stand-alone endorsements.
