Assistant Professor, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Program

Wendy Morley

Wendy Morley joined the nursing department in 2025 to serve as an assistant professor of nursing for the newly launched Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist program, teaching both in person at the Portland Center and remotely.

She arrived with 12 years of experience as a CRNA, and, in the six years leading up to her hiring, she co-owned and operated, with her husband Roy Morley, their own business, Genesis Anesthesia, Inc. Together, they’ve worked as independent contractors for multiple hospitals in the Pacific Northwest, most recently with Legacy Silverton Medical Center in Silverton (2024 to present), Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Idaho (2019 to present), and Astria Sunnyside Hospital in Washington (since 2019).

Morley holds a master of science in nursing degree from Arkansas State University (2013) and a dual bachelor’s degree in nursing from Whitworth University and Washington State University (2008). She is currently enrolled in Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia’s doctor of nurse anesthesia (DNAP) practice completion and nurse anesthesia educator programs.

She lives in Bayview, Idaho, with her husband and two sons, Isaiah and Hunter, and also has two adult daughters, Ariel and Kaylee. Wendy and Roy own a family farm in Idaho, where they raise chickens, sheep, goats, and donkeys. They enjoy traveling for work together and fishing, camping, hunting, and farm projects. They attend The Heart, a non-denominational church in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, where they co-lead a small group and volunteer in marriage ministries.
