Madison Hull

Name: Madison Hull

High School: Western Mennonite High School (Salem, Oregon)

Sport(s): Basketball

Position(s): Point guard and wing

Height / Weight: 5-8

High School Highlights:
Named first-team all-state and all-league (Class 2A Tri-River League) as well as all-tournament as a senior, when she averaged 24.8 points per game and broke school records for points in one game (41) and rebounds in one game (27); at state, she averaged a state-record 27.2 points per game; named Player of the Year for all classifications (1A to 6A) her final season; was named first team all-tournament, league and state as a sophomore and junior; selected second-team all-league, tournament and state as a freshman

Why I chose George Fox:
It has a great community and is a faith-based school. My high school that I go to is incredible when it comes to community and I didn't think that I would find anything close to that in college. When I came to George Fox for a basketball game, I was blown away at the support they got. I also have heard that coach Meek cares a lot about his players and cares more about who they will become instead of who they are as basketball players. That's not always the case at other colleges. I know he wants to win and will do everything he can to win, but that's not what he's all about. I also love how Christ is the center of everything here. When I came on my last tour, everything just felt right. I couldn't put it into words for you, it just feels like that's where I am supposed to be, and I am thankful that George Fox has what I am looking for.
