Oregon Battle of the Books Summer Writing Camp
Have you ever finished a book and thought, "I wish I could write like that?"
Join other avid readers and writers for a fun online camp experience exploring the OBOB books as guides to good writing. This one week, two hours per day camp will improve your writing skills and help you connect with like-minded storytellers entering grades 7-9. If you love the 2015-16 Oregon Battle of the Books selections, this is the camp for you!

Camp 1: June 27 - July 1, 2016
Camp 2: August 1-5, 2016
Who is Invited
Students entering grades 7-9 who will have read at least four of the 2015-16 OBOB books by the start of camp.
$80. In case of student cancellation, full refunds will be granted up to 30 days prior to the start of camp (May 28 for Camp 1 or July 2 for Camp 2). After these dates no refund will be granted. Deadline to register for Camp 1 is June 20 and deadline to register for Camp 2 is July 25.
Partial scholarships covering half of the Camp fee may be available. Students who would like to apply for a scholarship should complete the Word or PDF registration form, write a letter explaining why he/she wants to take the camp, and send both of these documents along with a check for 25% of the camp total. This will hold your spot in the camp and is completely refundable if you are not offered a scholarship or are unable to accept the scholarship. If you are offered a partial scholarship you will be expected to pay the remainder of the camp fee at that time.
