The best way for your student to prepare for and reach their career goals comes throughout the college the college experience and not just at the end. The George Fox Career Services staff want to work closely wth your student now as they move intentionally from being a student to becoming a professional... having fun along the way.

STP I Outcomes/freshman, sophomore:

Learn to make a solid career decision
Seek answers to questions about life purpose
Increase self understanding through career assessment

Research the world of work and possible majors
Explore the liberal arts concept

STP II Outcomes/sophomore, junior:

Build personal confidence related to the job search
Confirm career direction and occupational interests

Research the labor market
Write a cover-letter and resume, interview and learn ways to find a job
Learn about the graduate school admissions process

STP III Outcomes/junior, senior:

Build personal confidence related to the job search

Morehouse College Glee Club to Perform Oct. 22 at George Fox University
The nationally renowned Morehouse College Glee Club, a 45-member all-male, African-American choir will give a free performance at George Fox University on Friday, Oct. 22, at 8 p.m. in Bauman Auditorium on the Newberg campus. There is no admission charge for the concert. Donations will be accepted.

Help Support the GFU Auxiliary
Parents are invited to support the George Fox University Auxiliary by contributing handmade (or creative) saleable items for the Auxiliary Bazaar held during Family Weekend, Nov. 5 - 7. Items will be collected in the Office of University Relations by Friday, October 29, 2004 and may be donated or sold on consignment. For information call 503/554-2121.
