A message from the president
Robin Baker We have been in school for just about a week now and it has been a very good start to the year. About 530 new students joined us this fall – a great number! This is the 11th time I have welcomed an incoming class to George Fox University and the third time as President of the university. I know that each student comes with visions and dreams for the future and we know that we are at least partial caretakers of those dreams. Forbes ranks George Fox University as America’s top Christian College


Selah Women’s Conference
Attention all mothers of George Fox students: The sixth annual Selah women’s conference will be held at George Fox University on Saturday, September 26, 2009. This year the conference is called Reimagine – Embracing change, trusting God, and moving forward. We live in an era of accelerating change, but our timeless and changeless God has a plan for our lives that is beyond our imagination. Come and join us as we hear from speakers Sarah Thomas Baldwin, Linda Lucas, and Bo Stern. Students, alumni, parents and friends are welcome! Family Weekend
George Fox University’s Family Weekend is November 6 – 8, 2009. This is always a wonderful weekend to make fun family memories and enjoy life on the George Fox University campus. Events include concerts, family meals, theatre, faculty lectures, shopping to support student scholarships, and a good old-fashioned family Bingo night! Auxiliary Bazaar
During Family Weekend the George Fox University Auxiliary offers a wonderful holiday bazaar to raise money for student scholarships. If you would like to donate handcrafts or artwork to the bazaar, please contact Danya Ochsner by October 30, 2009 at dochsner@georgefox.edu or 503-554-2121.

Fall Sports
