Conferences help students experience aspects of emerging culture, exposing them to new "worlds" and providing them opportunity to network with like-minded people.
Students participate in four conferences during the first two years of the program. Of these, the third conference is to be "cross-cultural" such that the experience stands outside of anything the student has experienced to date.
In consultation with their faculty advisors, students select conferences and seminars that meet their educational goals.
