Assistant Professor of Occupational Therapy
The university welcomed Sydney Neumann as an assistant professor of kinesiology in 2026. She also serves as an instructor in the university's occupational therapy doctorate program.
Sydney is a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist and practices in outpatient vestibular and orthopedic physical therapy. She holds a doctor of physical therapy degree from Pacific University (2022) and a bachelor's degree in exercise science from George Fox (2019).
Sydney lives in Tualatin with her husband, Daniel, a 2018 George Fox mechanical engineering graduate, and attends Athey Creek Church in West Linn.
She is active in the Oregon Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association and volunteers as a physical therapist at the Borland Free Clinic. She enjoys hiking and camping with her husband and rescue-pitbull, Sebastian.
