Sydney Neumann, PT, DPT
Assistant Professor of Kinesiology
The kinesiology department welcomed Sydney Neumann as an assistant professor of kinesiology in 2026.
An alumna of George Fox, from which she earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science in 2019, she worked the previous year in multiple capacities – as an adjunct professor of anatomy for George Fox’s occupational therapy doctorate program and as an outpatient orthopedic and vestibular physical therapist. She also serves as an anatomy lab instructor in the Pacific University School of Physician Assistant Studies and as a teaching assistant in George Fox’s doctor of physical therapy program.
In addition to her degree from George Fox, she holds a doctor of physical therapy degree from Pacific University (2022). Sydney lives in Tualatin with her husband, Daniel, a 2018 George Fox mechanical engineering graduate, and attends Athey Creek Church in West Linn.
She is active in the Oregon Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association and volunteers as a physical therapist at the Borland Free Clinic. She enjoys hiking and camping with her husband and rescue-pitbull, Sebastian.
