Rachelle Quinn, DBA, MBA, CPA

The College of Business welcomed alumna Rachelle Quinn as an assistant professor of accounting in 2026.

A CPA with extensive experience in executive healthcare finance and analytics, she worked the previous seven years as the vice president of risk adjustment data and analytics at Kaiser Permanente. Prior to that, she was Kaiser’s Northwest regional controller (2014-18) and its executive director of financial planning and analysis (2017-18).

Quinn also brings higher education experience, teaching accounting and auditing classes as an associate professor at Concordia University (2013-14) and auditing courses as an adjunct professor at Portland State University (2012-13). Her areas of research interest include nonprofit finance and healthcare risk adjustment.

Outside of work, she has served on the board of directors as the finance committee chair for King’s Way Christian Schools in Vancouver, Washington. She earned a doctor of business administration degree from George Fox in 2017, an MBA from Concordia University in 2003 and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Linfield College in 1999.

Quinn lives in Camas, Washington, with her husband Jim, and her daughters Laurel and Bridget (when they are home from college). The family attends Grace Church in Camas, Washington. Rachelle enjoys weightlifting, reading, and worshiping with her church small group.
