Each classroom on campus has a yellow Emergency Response Guide mounted on the wall by an exit door. Each includes a map of the exits that are hand-tailored for every classroom on campus. Department offices should also have an orange Emergency Response Guide visible at the main reception desk.

Fox Alert - Emergency Broadcast Communication Messages

In case of emergency or crisis situations that require immediate notification, George Fox officials will deploy the Fox Alert system, which sends email and text messages to students, faculty and staff. Fox Alert is intended to communicate pertinent information and, when appropriate, provide directions to those in the affected area(s).

PLEASE NOTE: The Fox Alert system broadcasts messages to the email addresses and mobile phone numbers students, faculty and staff have provided the University. It is important that the information is accurate and up to date. Students, faculty and staff can change or update their contact information by logging into the portal at MyGeorgeFox and following the instructions.
