Veritas Spain Program - Fall 2016
"Being able to experience and develop relationships in a different culture, learn a new language, and really step out of my comfort zone taught me more about myself and this incredible world God has created than I could have ever imagined."

Alyssa Reynolds Alyssa Reynolds
Senior, sociology major
Ecuador, Living and Learning Program - Fall 2016
"Just like a muscle your character adapts to the stresses you place upon it. Studying abroad completely crushed my comfort zone. I submitted a 16,000ft volcano, went fishing for piranhas and hunting for monkeys in the amazon, scuba dove and snorkeled alongside aquatic iguanas in the Galapagos, got lost on public transportation, was fully immersed in the Spanish language, and so much more. Study abroad is an exciting combination of struggle and adventure, but boy will you grow!"

Veritas Rome Program - Fall 2016
"I spent the fall of my junior year in the heart of Rome. Living abroad taught me to understand cultures other than my own. As my understanding of other cultures increased, my understanding of myself and my own culture increased exponentially. I found that you have to take the first step onto this path of adventure but once you do, there's no telling where your feet will take you."

"If we could be reborn wherever we chose, how crowded Rome would be, populated by souls who had spent their previous lives longing to inhabit a villa on the Janiculum Hill..." Robert Hughes

Veritas Paris Program - Fall 2016
"I had the wonderful opportunity of studying abroad in Paris for a semester. My favorite part about the program was having the opportunity to not only learn in a new place but to also be able to serve God in a new community and culture. Studying abroad gave me an unforgettable experience where I met amazing people, learned incredible things, and served a community desperately hungry for Jesus."

Veritas Peru Program- Fall 2016
"Three months of adventure, three months of deep friendships, three months that have changed me like nothing else has before. I’ve eaten cow heart, I’ve climbed glacier covered mountains, I've walked the paths of the Incas, and I’ve seen what it means to have pride in your culture. This has been three months of my life being changed forever because of so many new friends who took the time to open my eyes to the power of creating community through our differences and shared passion for life."
