Program Fees

Due to the high cost of some programs an additional fee may be charged.  The student is responsible for round trip airfare. There also may be an additional charge for a visa. The fee does include emergency travel insurance.

The student will fill out two applications:
• George Fox off-campus application
The SSO application should only be completed after being informed from the Director of Study that you are accepted for an off-campus study semester.
• Scholar's Semester in Oxford application

Students must be full-time undergraduates with junior or senior status, holding a cumulative GPA of 3.7 or higher to apply. Note that this GPA requirement is higher than for other George Fox programs.

Students have two options: the North Wing of Wycliffe Hall, a large college residence north of the centre of town and a 10 minute walk to the center of town, or The Vines, a late-Victorian mansion on the crest of Headington Hill, a 35-minute walk into Oxford city center or a five-minute walk to the nearest bus stop. Students typically will room with one to two other students, however there are a few one person rooms. Students cook for themselves. More information about SSO housing. Since SSO does not include meals, the student's George Fox account will be credited for a full meal plan.
