Contemporary Music Center Program in Nashville

Program Overview

The Contemporary Music Center is under the oversight of Greenville University in Nashville, Tennessee, and is designed for students who feel called to a career in the music industry as performers, executives or promoters.

The principal goal is to help Christians impact the secular music industry, although the program would benefit those who are interested in Christian music as well. The program is located in Nashville, Tennessee.

Course Content

Courses include Faith, Music, and Culture, Inside the Music Industry, and specialized courses in two tracks for performers and music managers.

Housing

While at CMC, you will live in the Brentwood Apartment Complex, located right across the street from the Contemporary Music Center and just 10 minutes from downtown and 15 minutes from the airport. Each fully furnished apartment features a full kitchen, wireless internet and free access to the fitness center and swimming pool.

Program Fees & Eligibility

You pay your regular George Fox tuition and room and board and continue to receive all of your financial aid. Due to the high cost of some programs, an additional fee may be charged. You are responsible for round-trip airfare. The fee does include emergency travel insurance.

To apply, you must be a full-time undergraduate student with junior or senior status, holding a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
