The chapel opened in 2024 to serve as both a space for spiritual growth and contemplation as well as a visual representation of George Fox’s unwavering commitment to a Christ-centered education. The space utilizes natural elements and is located near the wooded canyon to emphasize the beauty of God. It is a sacred space that inspires the community to engage with the living God and foster spiritual growth.
The chapel features an Alumni Garden for contemplation and prayer, in the center of which stands a Celtic cross more than 13 feet tall and hand-carved from sandstone. This monumental cross, named Brendan's Cross, features intricate biblical imagery, with scenes from the Old Testament on one side and the New Testament on the other.
Inside, the space is adorned with 23 stained-glass windows designed by students under the guidance of a faculty mentor, paintings by faculty members, and a triptych in the chapel's narthex. The chapel also includes The Inklings Library, home to a collection of faith-centered works, a Rodgers Infinity Series digital organ, and a Heritage Edition of The Saint John's Bible on display.
The campus community uses the space for special faith services, contemplative worship, and music performances. As of May 2025, the chapel can be rented for wedding ceremonies.
