The Stevens Center was designed to serve as a one-stop student service building. In addition to five technology-rich classrooms, it contains offices for the registrar, undergraduate admissions, financial aid, student accounts, the Career & Academic Planning Center, IT, the president's office, advancement, event services, and the Welcome & Information Center.

The building was named for Edward Stevens, the 10th president of the university. It received multiple awards after its construction for the use of recycled materials and its environmentally friendly design.

Every year, George Fox sophomores pitch tents and sleep outside of the Stevens Center, as part of Tent City – a longstanding George Fox tradition where students await the opportunity to choose their Juniors Abroad trip the next morning. Each year, these trips take students to multiple destinations all over the globe.
