CCNE accreditation seal

Graduates are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX-RN) for licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).

Students have the opportunity to engage in learning experiences both inside and outside of the classroom. Clinical experiences take place in a variety of acute care and community healthcare settings. This allows students to gain valuable experience in professional nursing practice.

Our nursing school offers students the opportunity to prepare for areas such as acute care, cardiology, emergency, home care, hospice, obstetrics, oncology, pediatrics, school nursing and medical missions.

COVID & GFU Nursing
Vaccines are a critical step to slowing and ultimately ending the COVID-19 pandemic. George Fox University is strongly encouraging students and employees to get a COVID-19 vaccination, but will not require vaccination. Our Clinical partners are requiring the COVID vaccine for all students and clinical instructors for clinical placement, without exception
