Jason Brumitt, PT, PhD, ATC, CSCS

Associate Professor of Physical Therapy



Dr. Brumitt is an assistant professor in the School of Physical Therapy at George Fox University. He holds a PhD in orthopaedic and sports science from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions, a master of science degree in physical therapy from Pacific University and a bachelor of science in business administration from Southern Oregon State College.

The primary courses taught by Dr. Brumitt are Therapeutic Modalities, Health and Wellness in Physical Therapy, Applied Physiology, Orthopedics (Spine), and Professional Research Projects. His primary area of research is injury epidemiology in collegiate athletes. His clinical background is orthopedic and sports physical therapy, however, he has also provided therapy services in acute and skilled nursing settings.
