Matt Klein graduated from Western University of Health Sciences with a doctorate in physical therapy in 2016, Casa Colina's Orthopedic Residency in 2018, Kaiser Southern California's Manual Therapy and Sport Fellowship in 2019, and completed his PhD in rehabilitation and movement science in 2024 at Azusa Pacific University.
He has had a unique career that has taken him through an incredible variety of settings, including outpatient orthopedics, inpatient, primary care, spine care, telehealth, home health, collegiate/on-field sports and emergency room physical therapy.
He moved into academia at West Coast University's DPT program in 2022 and became a full-time faculty in George Fox's DPT program in 2024. His research focuses on masters athletes, the impact of aging on the musculoskeletal system, and running. He enjoys treating a variety of individuals and continues to practice to not only support others, but also continue learning.
