Certificate in Multicultural Preaching

Portland Seminary's Center for Thriving partnered with Leadership Center to create an all-expenses-paid, yearlong Certificate in Multicultural Preaching, providing women ministers with an opportunity to:

• Hone their communication skills
• Receive seminary-level training
• Build networks of peer support

This graduate certificate will be conferred by Leadership Center and recognized by Portland Seminary for six credits of advanced standing toward a master's degree.

The next cohort will run from September 2026 through May 2027. It will include:

• Two in-person gatherings in Oregon’s Willamette Valley (Sept. 17-20, 2026 & May 4-6, 2027)
• Monthly virtual cohort gatherings
• 2 virtual coaching sessions
• 2 virtual spiritual direction sessions
• Online course
• Certificate conferral
