Serve at George Fox, in the local church, and throughout the worldThe Friends Leadership Award is designed to recognize students who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and participation within a Yearly Meeting church. 

Recipients receive:

  • $1,000 to $2,500 renewable each year (a total of $4,000 to $10,000 per student over four years)
  • Access to leadership opportunities, participation in Quaker seminars, and mentoring relationships with faculty and staff
  • Additional financial aid based on academic merit, financial need, and church-university matching programs (see below)

Students interested in applying for the Friends Leadership Award must complete an application, as well as the Scholarship Competiton Application by November 15 (postmark). Eligible students will be invited to compete for the award on campus in February. More information on the Scholarship Competition can be found on the scholarship competition website.

The following are additional scholarship/grant programs available to all Quaker students who apply for admission:
