Jeremiah L. Peck, PhD, LMHC, LPC, NCC, ACS
Co-Chair, Graduate School of Counseling
Associate Professor of Counseling

I joined the Graduate School of Counseling in 2025 to serve as an associate professor of counseling and as co-chair, with Anna Berardi, of the GSC. I will assume the role of chair in January.
Previously, I worked in the Master of Arts in Counseling program at Western Seminary in Portland, where I served as program director and as an assistant professor for three years. Before that, I was an assistant professor and clinical training supervisor (2020-22), an instructor (2019-20) and an adjunct faculty member (2018-19) in Multnomah University’s Master of Arts in Counseling program.
My clinical experience includes more than 10 years as the owner, counselor and clinical supervisor of my own practice, Ally Academy Northwest/Ally Christian Counseling, based in Vancouver, Washington. My areas of expertise include high-conflict marriage counseling and the intersection of mental health and Christian church ministry.
I hold a PhD in counselor education and supervision from the University of the Cumberlands, a master’s degree in counseling from Multnomah University, and a bachelor’s degree in Bible and theology from Multnomah Bible College.
I live in Longview, Washington, with my wife Shelly, daughters Elisha, Alison and Isabel, and a fourth child due in November. We attend Grace Bible Church in Kelso, Washington, where I am also pastor. I have been ordained since 2017 and have served in church ministry for the past 20 years. I enjoy woodworking, creative writing, and cycling.
