Timothy DePue

The College of Nursing welcomed Timothy DePue as an assistant professor of nursing and clinical instructor in 2025. He arrived as a familiar face in the department, as he had worked on an adjunct basis at both George Fox and Clark College in Vancouver, Washington, the previous three years.

In addition, since 2015, he worked as a relief charge nurse at Providence Portland Medical Center, after working as an acute direct care nurse at that same facility for three and a half years. Previously, Timothy gained teaching experience in the profession as a nurses assistant instructor at Portland Community College (2009-11).

He earned both a master’s degree in nursing education (2020) and a bachelor of science in nursing degree (2017) from Western Governors University. He lives in Milwaukie with his wife Laurie and their children, Lyndhi, Mercy, and Lawrence. The family attends Montavilla Church. Timothy enjoys fishing, cooking, and traveling.
