Grace Lownsbery, MSN, RN, CHSE, CCRN

The nursing program hired alumna Grace Lownsbery as an assistant professor of nursing in 2024. She was already a familiar face on campus, working since 2019 as an adjunct clinical instructor and simulation operator in the nursing program. Grace is currently serving as the simulation manager where she creates and implements simulation activities that support student learning and skill growth through simulation-based learning experiences. Grace is recognized as a 2026 National League for Nursing Simulation Leadership Scholar. As part of this scholarship and leadership program, Grace works with simulation leaders across the nation to develop and disseminate simulation resources to support simulation standards of best practice in simulation programs across the nation.
