IDEA Center Director


Logan Walton joined George Fox as director of the IDEA Center in the fall of 2021. In the year prior, he worked as director of auxiliary services at Multnomah University, where he provided leadership and guidance for multiple strategic campus services, including the mailroom, student store, and coffee shop.

Previously, from 2017 to 2020, Logan was director of advising at Concordia University in Portland, collaborating in leading retention efforts with strategic solutions and management of the undergraduate and graduate advising staff. He also served as an academic advisor and career services specialist at Concordia (2013-17), and prior to that was the associate director of admissions (2011-13) and assistant director of admissions (2008-11) at Warner Pacific University in Portland.

Logan earned a master’s degree in college student affairs from Azusa Pacific University in 2010 and a bachelor’s degree in human development from Warner Pacific University in 2004. He lives in Portland with his wife, Kerian, and three kids: Sawyer, Lucie and Laine. The family attends Abundant Life Church in Happy Valley.
