Aurae Beidler

I began at George Fox University as an assistant professor of information technology and as the online program director of technology programs for the Adult Degree Programs in 2022. In the year prior, I worked as an instructor in health information management at Portland Community College and was previously a compliance and privacy officer with the Linn County Department of Health Services (2017-21), where I provided direction and oversight to the compliance program.

My previous experience in higher education came as a part-time faculty member teaching health information management at Lane Community College in 2021, and as an assistant professor and director of the healthcare compliance certificate program at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, from 2012 to 2016.

Outside the Classroom

I live in Albany with my husband Jeff and daughter Ellie, and attend Village Christian Church. I enjoy gardening, walks in nature, reading and watercolor painting.
