Scandinavia & Iceland 2027: Culture, Coastlines, and Discovery

Join us on a spectacular journey of culture, history, and natural beauty across Scandinavia and Iceland. Our adventure begins in Copenhagen, Denmark’s lively capital, known for its canals, castles, and modern design. Students will visit the National Museum and Rosenborg Castle, with free time to explore neighborhoods, try local foods, or bike along the harbor. Next, the group travels to Gothenburg, Sweden’s friendly coastal city, where island ferries, cafés, and waterfront views create a relaxed atmosphere. Then it’s on to Oslo, Norway’s dynamic capital. Visits include the Viking Ship Museum and the Nobel Peace Center, balanced with time to enjoy the city’s parks, art, and music scene.

The adventure really ramps up as we jump into the heart of the fjords, passing through Mydal and Flåm to reach Aurland. At this UNESCO Heritage site in Nærøyfjord, students will stand in awe of the majestic waterfalls and mountains while we hike and kayak. Next we travel by ferry and bus to Bergen and prepare to leave for Iceland, where our adventure will reach full peak. Based in Reykjavik, students can explore the Golden Circle, snorkel the Silfra Fissure between tectonic plates, and visit the stunning Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach.

With a balance of guided activities and independent exploration, this trip is designed for students eager to stretch their limits with adventure, connect with new food and cultures, and experience the natural wonders of Northern Europe.
