Tent City
Each spring, sophomores pitch tents on the quad the night before Juniors Abroad selection day in anticipation of getting up early to stake their claim to their trips of choice. Tent City for Juniors Abroad trips in 2024 (formerly “Campus Campout”) is scheduled from 12pm on Thursday, March 9th and will end with trip registration at 8am on Friday, March 10th.
If you have questions about the event, contact Lynn Scott at lscott@georgefox.edu.
Sign-Up Info
- Gather a group of one to five people and designate a group leader.
- You may not be in more than one group.
- All groups must be finalized before submitting the form.
- We reserve the right to add members to your tent if you do not have five members.
- If you sign up as an individual, we will help place you in a tent that needs more members.
- Sign-ups will begin at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, February 28, and will close at 6 p.m. on Monday, March 6. Sign-ups will be filled out by your designated group leader.
- You will be randomly assigned a tent number (done by a lottery system), which will also be the order by which you sign up for Juniors Abroad and your designated tent number for the evening. (REMINDER: members of the same group DO NOT have to sign up for the same trip, but they certainly may!).
- We will send the final order on March 8 via email. It is your responsibility to check your email and find your placement.
