Ceramics Institute
June 21-26, 2026
Get your hands dirty and your imagination fired up during this week-long ceramics experience designed especially for high school students. Led by our experienced ceramics professor, you’ll explore clay as a powerful vehicle for creative expression in our brand-new, state-of-the-art ceramics facility, learning to experiment boldly, pivot when things don’t go as planned, and discover the reality that mistakes are often the start of the best ideas.
Design and create unique projects by hand and develop artistic skills while strengthening confidence, problem-solving and resilience. Daily studio time is paired with collaborative challenges and faith-based reflections, helping you grow community ties and learn how to work thoughtfully and creatively with others.
This course promises a fun and encouraging introduction to the college experience within a faith-centered, supportive environment. You’ll form new connections with peers while also discovering your artistic expression through clay, an approachable and fun medium.
