Earn Your Master’s Degree

In partnership with George Fox University, you will complete a fully accredited master’s degree and teacher licensure program.
All tuition costs are fully covered, so you graduate debt-free.

Two Degree Tracks

Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT)
For candidates who have majored in a discipline other than education. The MAT track is a teacher licensure preparation program, and upon graduation you will be eligible to apply for your Oregon teaching license.
Master of Education (MEd)
For candidates who have completed an undergraduate education program and are or will be licensed to teach upon entering the program. The MEd track is designed to offer new coursework for licensed educators, not repeat the study of teaching from an undergrad program.

Teach While You Learn

You'll have the opportunity to be hired at one of our private K-12 Christian partner schools. We will provide the connections, interview coaching and support. You'll be responsible for going through the application process and being hired at the partner school.
Through hands-on teaching, you will apply your coursework in real time, preparing you to thrive as a professional educator.

How Does It Work?

Through George Fox’s partnership with Christian schools in the region, this program is offered tuition-free to students, enabling them to earn a graduate degree in teaching debt-free. In return, students commit to teaching at a Christian school for two years while in the program.
