Frank Luzaich, EdD

The College of Education welcomed alumnus Frank Luzaich as an assistant professor of educational leadership in 2026. A familiar face on campus, he served as an adjunct professor and doctoral advisor in the four years prior to his arrival, teaching in the doctor of education and master of education programs.

His path to George Fox runs through 30 years in public education, from elementary principal to executive director of elementary programs, including in the Lake Oswego School District from 2018 to 2025. That arc, from school leader to district leader, now shapes the leadership courses he teaches.

Frank earned both his EdD (2020) and his MAT (1995) from George Fox, and he holds a bachelor's degree in history from Portland State. He lives in Tualatin with his wife, Samantha; daughters Abby and Ellen live nearby. He attends Grace Chapel in Wilsonville and enjoys reading, travel and being outdoors.
