SpiL Retreats

Spiritual Life (SpiL) retreats offer you a unique chance to get away from your usual surroundings and connect with God, yourself and others. These retreats intentionally emphasize the importance of "being" rather than constantly "doing." By dedicating specific time to commune with God, we create a sacred space where our identity is affirmed and we are reminded of our belovedness.

These retreats are thoughtfully designed for a small group of 10 to 12 students and will take place off campus. During the retreat, participants can expect to enter into a slower pace to engage in various spiritual practices that rejuvenate their souls, bodies and minds.

Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to connect with fellow students, staff and faculty members, fostering a sense of community and support. You can earn chapel credit for participating.

Fall 2024

The fall 2024 retreat will take place during the mid-semester break, from Thursday, Oct. 3, through Saturday, Oct. 5. You must fill out an application to express interest in attending. You'll receive a confirmation email to let you know you've been selected to attend, and then you can secure your spot for $20. The fee covers food, lodging and transportation. If you're not selected for this first retreat, you will get first priority for our next one.

Please note: We have a student scholarship fund to help students access SpiL retreats if finances are a barrier to participating.
