Physical wellness is about more than just fitness; it’s about stewarding the gift of your health so you can show up fully for your students, colleagues and family. We provide the tools to help you move, nourish and rest your body in a way that feels sustainable and life-giving.

Hadlock Student Center
All George Fox employees have access to the 48,000-square-foot fitness center, which features three full courts, a climbing wall. an indoor track and two private fitness studios. You can also take advantage of other activities and offerings, including these:
- GroupX classes: Sign up for pilates, employee-only functional fitness sessions, circuit training, yoga and more.
- Intramural sports: Play pickleball, volleyball, basketball or soccer in the spirit of friendly competition.
- Family days: This is your chance to bring immediate family members to use the climbing wall and courts.
- Personal training: We offer this service for a reduced fee. Contact University Recreation for more information.
- Rental Center: Rent sports and outdoor gear at affordable rates.
Chehalem Aquatic and Fitness Center
Free pool and gym access is available for all George Fox employees with a valid ID card (register at the CPRD desk). Family members may be eligible for discounted passes.
Free fitness classes allow you to focus on strength training, low-impact aerobics, balance practice, stretching, yoga and other activities.
Ergonomic Assessments
Improve your workplace well-being with a holistic ergonomic assessment designed to create a supportive and comfortable desk environment. The process begins with an interactive online evaluation and educational session to identify immediate improvements, followed by a personalized in-person consultation.
By combining data-driven insights with a physical workspace review, we ensure your equipment and setup are perfectly tailored to your needs, helping you stay healthy and productive throughout the workday. Our free institutional subscription gives you full access to the New York Times “Well” section, a premium resource for science-backed nutrition and holistic health advice. It’s a fantastic tool for discovering nourishing recipes and practical habits that empower you to stay healthy, energized, and feeling your best every day.
