Transferring Credit from Another College/University

Transfer credit policies and evaluations vary between programs, and are managed directly through individual academic graduate departments, not through the Registrar's Office. See the academic handbook for the university transfer credit policy.

• Program-Level Review: Because degree requirements and maximum allowed transfer credits vary by discipline, all graduate transfer requests must be reviewed and approved directly by your specific Graduate Program Director.
• Submitting Documentation: Official transcripts and course syllabi for prospective graduate transfer credit should be submitted directly to your graduate program office or graduate admissions counselor during the admission or advising process.
• Credit Posting: Once approved by graduate program leadership, official authorization will be submitted to the Registrar's Office to formally post approved credits to your George Fox transcript.
• Grade Standards: Graduate transfer courses generally require a minimum grade of "B-" or higher (individual graduate programs may enforce stricter standards). Please consult your specific program section in the Graduate Academic Catalog.

WASH Chaplaincy Letters

George Fox University does not issue WASH letters, waiver letters, or other documentation intended to justify exceptions to educational or credentialing requirements for military or other chaplaincy pathways.
