A leader with more than 30 years of ministry experience, Tim Osborn, joined Portland Seminary in 2026 to serve as dean.

He arrived from Western Seminary, where he worked as director of church mission and strategy and as a cohort curator for its master’s degree cohorts for the previous two years. On the educational front, he's taught classes as an adjunct faculty member at Multnomah Seminary/Jessup University. He also cofounded and led the Portland Metro Network, a church-planting ministry, and is a leadership team member of MultiplyPDX, a network of leaders providing relationships, resources and partnerships for church multiplication.
