How to Apply
COVID-19 and Admissions at Portland Seminary
Portland Seminary's admissions office is taking steps to protect the health of our campus community and prospective students. In accordance with the Oregon governor’s "Stay Home, Save Lives" campaign, admissions counselors are working remotely. While we cannot offer in-person visits for now, admissions counselors are still available by email, phone or video if you have any questions or need assistance.
We are still accepting applications for programs starting this summer and fall. Classes may be offered virtually until in-person classes can safely resume.
If you are applying, please send application materials by email and ask your previous school(s) to send official transcripts electronically directly to Portland Seminary, rather than sending them by mail.
For additional information, visit George Fox University's main COVID-19 response page and the Seminary's COVID-19 response page.
We look forward to connecting with you!

Following the interview, the committee will notify applicants of its decision to admit, deny or defer admittance into your program of choice.
After Acceptance
If you are admitted to Portland Seminary, then you will be required to submit a $200 enrollment deposit by the date provided by your admissions counselor. This deposit guarantees your place in the program and typically covers the graduation fee applied to your student account in the last semester of your degree program.
Note: If a student chooses to defer their admission to the following year, the original enrollment deposit is forfeited if a refund is not requested within 60 days prior to the start of the program. A new enrollment deposit will be due by May 1st in order to secure their spot in the program the following year.
You will not be able to register for classes until the university has received your deposit.
