Transferring Credit from Another College/University

Undergraduate students who have completed work at other educational institutions may be entitled to transfer credit by presenting official transcripts from those institutions to be evaluated by the Registrar’s Office. Coursework may be applied to general education (Cornerstone Core) and/or major/minor requirements, or may transfer as elective credit. Certain criteria must be met in the transfer credit evaluation. See the academic handbook for the university transfer credit policy.

You can find some established undergraduate transfer equivalencies through the College Source Transfer Equivalency System. Several schools are listed here.

If the school you intend to transfer credits from is not listed:

• Prospective undergraduate transfer students: Contact your transfer admission counselor.
• Current traditional undergraduate students: Please complete the Transfer Evaluation Request Form. You will receive an email within a few days to let you know if the credits would be accepted and how the coursework would transfer.
