Pay Online Via MyGeorgeFox

  1. Sign into your MyGeorgeFox account at my.georgefox.edu.
  2. From your student homepage, click "Financial Account".
  3. On the left, click on "Make a Payment" to open the payment page.
  4. On the overview page, you can see the amount owed by term, the option to pay for future charges, and a way to give someone else permission to make payments for you. To proceed to make a payment for one of the semesters listed, click "Make a Payment" on the left or bottom right.
  5. You must update the amount you want to pay. If a balance exists in more than one semester, select the terms you intend to pay (on the left) and update the amounts on the right. (Semesters in the future will not be displayed until charges have been assessed for that semester   typically mid-July for fall, mid-November for spring and mid-March for summer.) Please note, the amount reflected is the total balance charged. Caution: If you have financial aid pending, you will need to reduce the amount paid.
  6. Click "Checkout", in the bottom right corner.
  7. Enter a memo or check number if desired. This note is for your use. It will print on your receipt, but it is not used by our office.
  8. Click "Continue".
  9. Follow the remaining prompts using bank account information (no additional fee) or credit/debit card (a 2.95% web servicing fee is added). We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Select the box the “Save card for future use.” If your payment method is saved, the office can process a payment for you by phone.

NOTE: We recommend using Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome as your web browser. If you receive an error message while attempting to make a payment, your internet browser settings may need to be adjusted. Under your browser's settings you will need to enable cookies. Once enabled, clear the browser's cache and reload MyGeorgeFox.

Authorize a Parent or Other Person to Pay on Your Account

  1. Sign into your MyGeorgeFox account at my.georgefox.edu.
  2. From your student homepage, click on "Financial Account".
  3. On the left, click on "Make a Payment" to open the payment page.
  4. On the left, click on "My Account".
  5. On the Overview page, scroll down and click on "Send a Payer Invitation".
  6. On the right, fill in the information of the payee and click on "Send Invitation".
  7. A system-generated email will be sent to the designated email address along with instructions on how to set up their account and make payments.
  8. After being added in MyGeorgeFox, parents and other authorized users can make a payment on cashnet.com.

Pay by 529 Plan

You may pay using your 529 College Savings Plan either online through Illumia (formerly Transact/Cashnet) or by mailed check.

How to Make a 529 Payment Through Illumia

While many 529 providers offer electronic payment options, not all plans are currently available within the Illumia portal. If your provider is not listed in the link above, please follow the mailed check payment instructions. We continue to work with Illumia to expand the number of supported 529 providers. Many 529 College Savings Plans now offer distribution tracking or real-time payment updates. We encourage you to check with your plan administrator to see if these options are available.

Important Payment Timing Information

To avoid potential late fees, mailed 529 payments must be receive by the published payment due date. If your 529 payment will arrive after the due date, please complete the 529 Check Deferral Request Form

For Spring term payments, we use estimated tuition until the semester starts. In order to have the 529 distribution match the 1098-T form, we recommend waiting until the new calendar year starts to initiate the payment and filling out the deferral request form.
